Wireframe design for website improvements

During my internship at Wilson Creative, I had the opportunity to develop wireframes for two different client projects, where I focused on improving the user experience through layout restructuring, SEO optimization, and increased website relevance. I created Impact maps as a way to visualize the user journey and the impact of the changes as a mean to gain insight of the main users needs and wants, this was done as a means on what should be focused on in the project. Both projects were local companies, where ones a larger company with its head office in Kalmar and can be found across southern and central parts of Sweden.

Timeline: 8 Weeks Role: UX Designer Platform: Webpage

Lessons learned and personal growth

These projects helped me develop and strengthen several key skills:

User-Centered Design

Gained practical experience in understanding user needs and translating them into design solutions

Business Understanding

Learned to better align design solutions with business objectives and client goals

Clear Communication

Developed skills in effectively communicating design concepts from initial ideas to final implementation

Team Collaboration

Gained experience working with development teams in iterative, agile processes

By working with two different types of companies. Both local, but different, where ones a local consulting firm and the other is a larger corporation that stretches from the southern and central parts of Sweden. By taking on these projects I gained valuable insight and experience in how UX design needs to be adapted to different business contexts and target groups.
